Who is mark dalton caples?
Mark is a project management expert, author, and founder of Mark Dalton Homes.
With over 20 years of experience in construction, project management, and operations leadership, Mark has built his career from the ground up — literally. Based in Spring Branch, Texas, he got his start as the owner of a luxury design/build firm specializing in high-end kitchen and bath remodels, then moved into large-scale residential project management with a nationwide prop-tech company, where he managed millions of dollars in renovation work and was trusted to turn around the toughest projects. Today, alongside running Mark Dalton Homes and its commercial door service line, Mark leads vendor and maintenance operations for a residential property portfolio — hands-on experience that shapes how he manages every project here.
A licensed residential and real estate inspector fluent in ICC building codes, Mark ensures every project meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. He's also the author of The Hard Knock School of Project Management and host of the Hard Knock University Podcast, where he shares hard-earned lessons on leadership and the realities of the building industry.
